This week's featured Military camping facility is the Lake Greenwood RV Park & Campground at Crane NSA in Indiana! Crane MWR Campground and Lake Greenwood Cabins are a perfect choice. Located on an 800-acre lake in an area offering fishing, hunting, boating and hiking with campgrounds located adjacent to the marina, this featured facility is truly an outdoor person’s delight! A full range of support facilities is available on base.

The campground has 47 sites along with a bathhouse that includes washers and dryers. 35 of the RV sites have full hook-up (water, 30 or 50 amp electric, and sewer). Primitive campsites have no electric or water, there are 5 tent sites, and two (2) screen houses.
The two bedroom cabin includes one set of bunk beds with twin mattresses and one full mattress. There is one cabin that sleeps 6 people and four cabins that sleep 4 people. Each is outfitted with a mini refrigerator, microwave, toaster, small coffee maker, heat and air conditioning, bathroom, porch swing, park side grill, fire ring, and picnic table. Bed linens and towels are not included in cabin rentals therefore, renters are strongly encouraged to bring their own.
The campground is very rustic and a fantastic place to relax, enjoy nature, and unplug from the world. TV and cell phone service is limited, so be sure to bring your favorite games (cribbage, anyone?) or a great book to read.
