This week's featured Military camping facility is the Kirtland Air Force Base FamCamp in New Mexico! Located just southeast of downtown Albuquerque, Kirtland FamCamp is sure to be a pleasing stay, with beautiful scenery unique to New Mexico.

With 70 full hookup sites between the West and East campgrounds, Kirtland Air Force Base FamCamp, NM is a great destination to explore Albuquerque and the surrounding area. This FamCamp is available on a first come first serve basis. Full hookups are available, as well as dry campsites. Here you'll find a washer/dryer room, bathrooms and a shower facility, propane service, gathering places, and a dog park. Pets are welcome as long as they are current on their shots, and normal leash rules are enforced.

Guests will enjoy a full range of support facilities on base, as well as easy day travels to amazing locations! Sandia Peak, Old Town Albuquerque, San Felipe De Neri are just a few of the sites recommended by fellow readers. Just remember, these sites are on a first come, first served basis! As a heads up, all RV’s/Trailers Must Enter Through the Truman Gate, and the maximum length of stay is 30 days.
