Destin Army Recreation Area is a gated resort in the heart of Old Destin, near the Harbor Walk Village between Pensacola and Panama City. The resort spans 15 acres along the Choctawhatchee Bay and is just minutes from the Gulf of Mexico.
Campground is open all year. Reservations can be made up to a year in advance.
It features forty-six hardstand RV sites ranging from $30-$55/day, include Standard (32′), Deluxe (38′), Premium (40′), and Pull-through (40’+), with E(110V/30/50A)/S/W, and CATV hookups. Sites are close together and roads are narrow.
Pet informations: RV area is pet friendly. There are also a few pet friendly cabins.
While visiting, enjoy fun-filled amenities including the swimming pool and splash park– 2,500 square feet of fun, with playgrounds and picnic areas along the waterfront. Or spend time fishing from the 300′ fishing and crabbing pier (license required).
Onsite fitness facilities and recreation equipment include treadmills and TVs. The roads surrounding the recreation area are safe for walking and jogging and are limited mostly to local residents.
The Marina rentals include pontoon boats, jet skis, kayaks, and paddle-boards.
