Washington DC Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
The Washington DC Tree lighting ceremony will occur on December 11th, 2022, at 8:00 pm EST. The ceremony's tradition started in 1923, which means this year's celebration will also mark the 100th lighting of the National Tree in President's Park.
The tree is located in the President's Park, northeast of the Ellipse near the White House.
Fifty-eight trees surround the National Christmas tree representing each state, territory, and school managed by the Department of the Interior's Bureau of Indian Education and Department of Defense Education Activity.
The trees will be available for viewing from December 2nd, 2022, to January 1st, 2023.
