DAF Selects Partner For Commercialized On-Base Lodging

Some big news was put forth regarding Air Force Lodging. In a move similar to that of the Army, the Air Force is partnering with Centinel Public Partnerships, LLC and IHG Hotels and Resorts for on-base lodging.

AFNS ~ "The Department of the Air Force has selected a commercial partnership team for the Commercial On-Base Lodging initiative, announced in May 2025, that will allow the department to transition its on-base lodging capability across the U.S. and its territories.
The DAF has selected Centinel Public Partnerships, LLC and IHG Hotels and Resorts to execute a 50-year lease. Centinel brings industry leading real estate development experience and IHG is one of the world’s leading hotel companies with a diverse global hotel portfolio. The DAF anticipates lease finalization and operational transfer to Centinel Public Partnerships and IHG Hotels and Resorts by fall 2027. The DAF is implementing a phased approach to ensure continuous lodging operations and minimal disruption. The first group of 23 installations slated for transition includes:
• Altus Air Force Base, Okla.
• Barksdale AFB, La.
• Beale AFB, Calif.
• Buckley Space Force Base, Colo.
• Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz.
• Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga.
• Edwards AFB, Calif.
• Eglin AFB, Fla.
• Goodfellow AFB, Texas
• Hurlburt Field, Fla.
• Joint Base Andrews, Md.
