Today is National Vietnam War Veterans Day! President Donald J Trump signed into law The Vietnam War Veterans Recognition Act of 2017 on March 28, 2017. This year’s commemoration marks the 2nd anniversary of this day, which joins six other military observances (Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day, Navy Day and Veterans Day).
March 29 was chosen as March 29, 1973 was the day Military Assistance Command Vietnam was deactivated.
