Welcome to Annapolis, the home of the U.S. Naval Academy and Sailing Capital of the World! Whether your stay is for business or pleasure, patrons enjoy the ambiance and heritage of the Navy Gateway Inns & Suites Annapolis (formerly the Visitors Quarters), located in a charming historical building at United States Naval Academy in downtown Annapolis.

This site offers 16 luxurious, custom decorated suites, including two elegant Distinguished Visitors Quarters. All rooms are located on the 2nd & 3rd floors. Due to its historical structure, the facility and rooms are not handicapped accessible to meet ADA Requirements.

Active Duty service members, Retired Military and DoD employees can make reservations anytime. Each spacious room and suite is loaded with amenities, such as complimentary laundry, Wi-Fi and fully equipped kitchens. Some rooms are also equipped with electric fireplaces. Upon arrival, guests will receive a temporary membership card, which is also valid for a complimentary drink/cocktail at The Alley, the fine dining establishment located in the lower level of the Naval Academy Club.

Sailing Lesson Information: Lessons are available from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Classes are held on Fridays from 1800-2100 hours and Saturdays from 0830-1600 hours. Cost for lessons is approximately $220 per person. Payment is due 30 days prior to scheduled class. Course completion earns a Skipper “B” Qualification Card.
