This week's featured Space-A air terminal is the Pope Army Airfield (Pope AAF) AMC Passenger Terminal. Pope fairly often receives flights both into and out of the terminal. Recent flights include Joint Base Andrews in MD, Joint Base Lewis-McChord in WA, Travis AFB in CA, Dover AFB in DE and Joint Base Charleston in SC. Pope Army Airfield is located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and there are plenty of things to do and see in the surrounding area. Here are some suggestions:

Golfing: Tee off at one of the many golf courses in the area, such as the Airborne & Special Operations Museum's golf course or the Cape Fear Country Club.
Fayetteville's Farmers Market: Visit the weekly farmers market to sample local produce, baked goods, and crafts.
Cumberland County Museum: Learn about the history of Cumberland County at this museum, which features exhibits on everything from Native American culture to the Civil War.
Fayetteville's Downtown Market: Explore the shops, restaurants, and bars in downtown Fayetteville, which offers a lively atmosphere and plenty of entertainment options.
Kayaking or Paddleboarding: Rent a kayak or paddleboard and explore the Cape Fear River or nearby lakes and waterways.
Fayetteville's Parks: Visit one of the many parks in the area, such as the Fayetteville Greenway Trail, the Cape Fear River Trail, or the J. Bayard Morris Park.
These are just a few of the many things to do near Pope Army Airfield in North Carolina. Depending on your interests and the time of year you visit, there may be other attractions and activities worth exploring.
