Grapevine gives you access to Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base in Fort Worth (about 35min southwest).
With a name like Grapevine, you can expect the area is full of wineries. Some of the most popular around town include Cross Timbers Winery, Delaney Vineyards, Messina Hof Winery, and Bingham Family Vineyards.
Grapevine also has plenty of outdoor activities like The Vineyards Campground & Cabins, an 8'000 acres RV park with amenities like fishing, hiking, and kayak rental.
The town also hosts The Sea Life Grapevine Aquarium, an interactive aquarium containing thousands of sea creatures, a touch pool, a 360-degree tunnel, and much more!
If you are a music fan, the Toyota Music Factory, the area's premier live music venue, is on the other side of the airport.
The proximity to the Naval Air Station gives you a commissary, an MWR, and an exchange. The Grapevine area also has plenty of Golf Courses.
Again, Grapevine has a lot to offer. Unfortunately, because of its proximity to the DFW airport, the airplane noise might be an inconvenience, but the town's advantages should oversee it!
