Fort Greely‘s Valdez Glacier Campground is located approximately 260 miles south of the operating base and offers its guests an amazing and beautiful location! Located at the base of the Chugach Mountains beneath the famous Valdez Glacier, the glacier run-off provide a beautiful waterfall scenery that cascades into a crystal-clear creek alongside the camping area. Without a doubt, this campground will delight its guests!
This seasonal campground offers 73 standard campsites and 21 RV sites. A dump site is onsite as well as a bathhouse. RV rental trailers are also available at the campground.
