Getting away and enjoying some R&R is always enjoyable. So why not try Dover AFB FamCamp? With its convenient location to attractions like the John Dickinson Plantation and other historic sites, this FamCamp is an excellent choice! Visit Dover Downs, which hosts the NASCAR each year in June and September and offers dining and slot machines daily, or walk over to Eagle’s Nest Park or enjoy the Air Mobility Command Museum.
The camp has 15 recreational vehicle sites – seven with electric, sewer, and water hook-ups. Three sites have water and electric only. There is also an over flow dry camp area that can accommodate up to five RVs. A dump station is available for those that do not have a sewer receptacle at your site. Picnic tables and grills are located near all sites with the exception of the dry sites. A full range of support facilities are available on base.
