Belton Lake Outdoor Area (BLORA) is thirty minute east of Fort Hood, TX (Fort Cavazos). The park includes three camping areas: Deer, Cedar, and Cottage RV Park.
Belton Lake offers RV sites with W/30A/S at the Cottage RV park area and RV sites with W/30A at the Deer and Cedar RV park areas. Campground also provides primitive tent camping throughout the park. Leashed pets are allowed, but fees and restrictions may apply.
Park is open year-round.
Belton Lake Recreation Area activities include horseback riding trails, mountain bike trails, hiking trails, boating, boat rental, and fishing.
BLORA also offers a "Team Challenge Course" including:
- Zipline
- 53-foot climbing wall
- Giant Swing
- and more!
The Recreation Area does not include a Golf Course. Fortunately, Fort Hood (Fort Cavazos) does! The Courses of Clear Creek are 18-Hole courses with a snack bar and equipment rentals.
