Located at Flagg Ranch and just two miles south of Yellowstone and the Grand Teton National Park, the Yellowstone Country Trailers are the perfect vacation destination! Owned and operated by Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho, the eleven trailers are leased through the Outdoor Recreation Office (ODR) but manned by a camp host at Flagg Ranch in Wyoming.

In cooperation with Flagg Ranch, active duty military personnel, military retirees, reservists and DoD civilians are eligible to rent the military-owned trailers with a two-night minimum requirement. And with so much to do, vacationers will probably find they will need more! The 26-foot trailers are fully equipped with cooking and eating utensils, a shower and are well-maintained although patrons will need to bring their own bedding, towels and pillows.

Close to the Snake River, guest of the trailers can sign up for the Wild and Scenic Rafting trip that departs from the Ranch and spend a day on the river while watching for bald eagles and wildlife, including moose, bison, and elk. Mountain hiking enthusiasts will find plenty of area trail hikes that are sure to inspire all and challenge the fittest.
