Are you feeling the crunch of Spring Break? Well, there is good news! Although many resorts and favorite warm-weather vacation spots are probably pretty well booked, you can still have a fun Spring Break away from home without the huge travel hassle! Here are a few, last minute Spring Break ideas!
Many of the MWR/FSS offices are hosting fun spring break camps for kids, family activities and some are offering get away packages with winter rates still in effect! Or be sure to check nearby local military lodging, RV parks and Getaway destination for last minute reservations and enjoy just being away for a night or two!
You can take advantage of indoor pools, golf courses, bowling centers, outdoor recreation rentals, field house activities, bingo nights, movie theaters, museums, shopping and so much more right on base! Or maybe your local Tickets and Tours office is offering affordable opening day tickets for local baseball teams (both major and minor league), discounted amusement park passes, super deals on ski packages and lodging or indoor water park passes. It can prove to be the most fun to visit places close to home before those venues become jam-packed with tourists during the summer months.
