This week’s featured camping & RV getaway is the Gowen Field RV Park at Boise Air Terminal/Gowen Field Airport/Air National Guard in Boise, Idaho! Active duty service members, National Guard service members, reservists and retirees are welcome at the Gowen Field RV Park. Reservations are accepted up to 3o days in advance, and this facility operates year-round.

Facilities include 7 concrete camper spaces. These spaces are back-in, and can house campers up to 45 feet in length. On-base support facilities include an exchange, a fitness center, MWR activities, a coffee shop, a grill and a club.
Boise has plenty of activities and gorgeous natural landscapes for visitors to enjoy. The Boise River Greenbelt has lovely hiking, biking and walking trails all on the side of the Boise River. Boise is also home to the World Center for Birds of Prey, where visitors can enjoy live bird demonstrations, exhibits, and hands-on experiences with birds of prey, all of whom are at this facility because they are unsuitable for release or are currently undergoing rehabilitation. Boise also has a wide variety of parks, museums and restaurants, so everyone who visits can find their idea of fun.
