Saturday, July 27, 2019, marks the 66th anniversary of North and South Korea signing the armistice which suspended the hostilities of the Korean War.
Presidential Proclamation 9629 has designated the National Korean War Veterans Armistice Day to honor ‘the patriots who defended the Korean Peninsula against the spread of Communism in what became the first major conflict of the Cold War’.
Each year, on July 27, we remember those who laid down their lives in defense of liberty during this bloody conflict. Please join us as we seek to honor and preserve their legacy of valor, determination, and selfless sacrifice.
