Sigonella NAS, Italy | Featured Military Space-A Air Terminal of the Week

If you've always wanted to visit Italy, you can get here via Space-A Air! Sigonella Naval Air Station is situated on the southeastern coast of the island of Sicily. The base's primary mission is to provide air support for naval operations in the Mediterranean and North Africa. The base also serves as a logistics hub for U.S. and NATO forces in the region.

Being a Naval Air Station, flights to/from Sigonella are most often Navy to Navy. Getting to here from CONUS would most likely require you to fly from Norfolk Naval Station*, and you can take a Patriot Express flight here for added comfort. Check out the latest PE schedule here.

If NAS Sigonella isn't your final destination, NAS Sigonella often flies to Rota Spain, Stuttgart Germany, and Souda Bay, Greece. Other recent flights include Ramstein Germany, Prestwick Scotland, St. John's, Portsmouth, and New Orleans. All of these flights had at least a few seats available!

Amenities at the terminal include a USO open Mon-Fri 0730-1530, numerous vending machines, telephones (commercial and DSN), TV, Restrooms, Family and DV lounges.
