A quarter mile east of the cottage, guests will find the Point Betsie lighthouse. The lighthouse was created in 1858, and still operates today. Guests can view the lighthouse, with semi-guided and self-guided tours available. Point Betsie is within 10 miles of hiking, shopping, skiing, and golfing. Being that the facility is on the water, visitors are always welcome to fish and comb the beach for shells and sea glass.
