This week’s featured camping is Peregrine Pines FamCamp in Colorado Springs, Colorado Mountain adventurers – this one is for you! Peregrine Pines FamCamp at the U.S. Air Force Academy, CO is an ideal destination for those who prefer cooler temperatures and ever-changing weather conditions amidst the beautiful Colorado Rockies scenery. With an elevation of 7,000 feet, the camp is nestled in a peaceful, wooded area with views of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains.
Offering over 105 gravel sites with W,30/50A/S for $30-$35/ day, and 10 tent sites with no hook up for $12-$15/day. The Peregrine Pines FamCamp is open year-round depending on weather conditions with limited support services available onsite. Leashed pets are allowed
Although the FamCamp office is closed for low season, propane service is available on select days during select hours. A full range of support facilities is available on base. Please note that during the low season, reservations are not accepted.
