My wife and I wanted to spend this Easter in Lourdes, France. Since we live in Winter Springs, Florida, we wanted to fly Space-A out of Charleston AFB into Ramstein, Germany and work our way to Lourdes.

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (NNS) - Navy Lodge Norfolk, Va., opened the doors of its new four story, 100-room facility Dec. 13. The new Navy Lodge features all types of rooms - family, business class, standard as well as handicapped rooms. The opening of the new building completes Phase 1 of the three-phase project.

After our arrival from Hawaii, Roy and I have spent our first restful night at the Marines’ Memorial Club, our “temporary home in San Francisco.” When Roy retired from the Army in 1982, I presented him with a life membership to this wonderful non-profit Veterans organization which is a living memorial. “It is a tribute to those who have gone before, and a service to those who carry on.”
